SERF & ARTIQO announce exclusive distribution agreement boosting entry into one of orthopedics’ fastest growing segments.


SERF SASa global orthopedic company -part of the MENIX group – headquartered in Lyon (France) and ARTIQO GmbHa joint reconstruction company with a leading position in the German market based in Lüdinghausen (Germany) are pleased to announce they have reached an exclusive distribution agreement effective immediately. This partnership combines ARTIQO’s unique expertise in calcar-guided short stem, with its market leading A2® along with SERF’s capabilities and outreach as a global European leader in joint reconstruction.


SERF has been enjoying years of double-digit growth and is the undisputed market leader in hip replacement in one the world’s most competitive markets, France. The addition of the A2® range will complement SERF’s hip solutions allowing entry into this fast-growing segment.

Through this agreement, ARTIQO will be able to increase its geographic footprint in selected markets as well as gain access to SERF’s clinically proven solutions such as the NOVAE® Dual Mobility cups or HYPE® stem.

SERF announces acquisition of the MADISONTM knee prosthesis range

SERF and IMPLANET have announced completion of SERF’s acquisition of the MADISON TM orthopaedic knee implants range.

This acquisition enhances the unicompartmental “Uni KROMA” range already developed and marketed by SERF, thus offering an extensive range that can address the most important needs of patients and orthopaedic surgeons operating on the lower limb. It truly marks the MENIX group’s entry onto the Knee market, doubling the market that can be targeted by SERF’s sales forces and distributors.

IMPLANET’s transfer of this activity concerns the whole of MADISON TM ’s activity relating to the design and marketing of implants for knee replacement surgery.
